A network that enriches the festival
Kirtan Bhakti Festival is a space for connection, community, and service. That is why we collaborate with projects, organizations, and communities that share our values and contribute to building a more conscious and caring society.
Institutional Support
The Horta-Guinardó District of Barcelona City Council provides valuable support to the Kirtan Bhakti Festival, helping to make it possible.
The Consulate General of India in Barcelona also supports the festival, helping to strengthen the cultural ties between India and Barcelona, while highlighting the tradition of kirtan and the richness of India’s spiritual culture.
Seva Gram · Solidarity Village
A space created to give visibility and support to social and solidarity-based organizations. Through their projects, activities, and a solidarity market, they can share their work, raise awareness of their initiatives, and raise funds through the sale of fair-trade and socially responsible products.
Spiritual Communities and Organizations
Different communities and organizations connected with Sanātana Dharma and the various paths of yoga actively collaborate with the festival, helping to make it possible and bringing their presence, energy, and diversity.
They represent different ways of living, experiencing, and expressing the same tradition: like a prism that receives a single light and reveals it in many different colours. This diversity enriches the festival and reflects the plurality of paths that coexist within this ancient tradition.

Yoga Sin Fronteras (Yoga Without Borders)
A non-profit organization that brings yoga to where it is needed most, turning it into a tool for care, inclusion, and social transformation. Founded by journalist and yoga teacher Meritxell Martorell, it develops programs tailored to people and communities in vulnerable situations, with an inclusive, accessible, and deeply human approach.

Jin-Pa Association (jinpa means generosity in the Tibetian language)
The Jin-Pa Association works to support the Tibetan refugee population and local communities in southern India. Its work focuses particularly on the refugee settlements in the Bylakuppe region, supporting individuals and families and contributing to improving their living conditions and well-being.

Semillas de Consciencia (Seeds of Awareness)
Semillas de Consciencia is a Spanish development NGO that runs projects in Rishikesh, India, to improve opportunities for vulnerable children and promote their access to education. Sanghalma Yoga Association
A non-profit organization that promotes well-being, inclusion, and holistic care through yoga, meditation, and conscious breathing. It develops activities adapted to caregivers, people with disabilities, people living with chronic illnesses, and other vulnerable groups, creating spaces for self-care, support, and community.

The Vicente Ferrer Foundation
The Vicente Ferrer Foundation works alongside vulnerable communities to combat poverty and build a fairer and more equal society. Its projects address major human challenges such as children’s well-being, access to healthcare, gender equality, the inclusion of people with disabilities, and care for the Earth, promoting sustainable solutions and community autonomy.
Its work, which began in southern India, now extends to countries including Nepal, Mozambique, Sri Lanka, Palestine and the Philippines. In Nepal, where a devastating catastrophe caused by flooding has severely affected numerous communities, the Foundation is responding to the emergency alongside local organisations, addressing the most urgent needs of affected families. It also develops projects in Spain, including its response in Valencia following the DANA.

Embracing the World (Amma’s Humanitarian Work)
Inspired by Amma (Mata Amritanandamayi), Amma’s Humanitarian Work develops projects aimed at alleviating suffering and improving the living conditions of vulnerable people and communities. Through Embracing the World, an international network of organizations and volunteers, it supports initiatives in areas such as food aid, education, healthcare, housing, women’s empowerment, disaster relief, and environmental protection.
At the Amma Centre in Piera, selfless service (seva) is part of everyday life. Its estate of more than 17,000 olive trees is cared for by volunteers, and the olive oil produced there is used to support Amma’s humanitarian work. At the festival, they will be present with their circular clothing market and olive oil produced at the Piera ashram, offering a direct and accessible way to participate in and contribute to this solidarity work.

Gràcia Solidària
Gràcia Solidària brings together cooperation and solidarity organizations from the Gràcia district and works to strengthen their projects and build support networks.
At the Kirtan Bhakti Festival, their collaboration is especially valuable in making Seva Gram · The Solidarity Village possible, providing tents, materials, and infrastructure, and supporting the participation of the solidarity organizations.

Fundación Indian Cultural Center Barcelona
The Indian Cultural Center Barcelona Foundation works to promote and celebrate Indian culture in Barcelona, supporting activities related to languages, music, dance, and other expressions of India’s rich cultural heritage.
Its collaboration with the Kirtan Bhakti Festival helps bring this cultural diversity closer to the public and create new spaces for exchange between Indian traditions and Catalan society.

Hara's Garden (Jardín de Hara)
A space dedicated to yoga, spirituality, and the knowledge of Vedic traditions, created by the Association for Vedic Knowledge and Yoga (ACVI). A place for gathering and practice where yoga, meditation, Ayurveda, kirtan, satsang, music, and different approaches to self-discovery come together.
A place to deepen self-knowledge, cultivate spiritual practice, and share the journey with a community that finds in the teachings of yoga and the traditions of India a path of growth, awareness, and transformation.
Thanks to this space, the Kirtan Bhakti Association holds a kirtan gathering every Friday evening at Jardín de Hara, creating a weekly meeting point for devotional singing and community.

ISKCON
The ISKCON Barcelona community is part of the Gaudiya Vaishnava bhakti tradition and shares its spiritual practice through mantra chanting, kirtan, meditation, and community life.
An essential part of their path is also cooking as an expression of devotion: preparing food with care, dedication, and love, and offering it as part of their spiritual practice. In ISKCON, cooking and sharing food thus become a form of service and a way of putting the heart into what is offered.

Bhakti Marga
Bhakti Marga Spain is a spiritual community connected to the path of bhakti, the path of love and devotion to the Divine. It is part of the international network founded by Paramahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda and offers various practices including yoga, meditation, devotional chanting, rituals, and other forms of spiritual expression.
At the festival, Bhakti Marga Spain joins forces by sharing its practice and its vision of spirituality, rooted in devotion, service, and the opening of the heart.

Advaita Vidya
An association dedicated to the transmission and study of India’s spiritual traditions, with a particular focus on Advaita Vedānta, yoga, meditation, and Kashmir Shaivism.
Its teachings, inspired by the traditional teacher-to-disciple lineage, seek to present these teachings in a direct, experiential, and profound way, integrating study, contemplation, and spiritual practice into everyday life.
Advaitavidya is led by Swami Satyananda Saraswati, a Hindu monk and teacher with many years of study and practice in India. From Spain, he continues to share this tradition through satsangs, seminars, retreats, courses, and publications. He has also founded Kailash Ashram and Advaitavidya Publishing.

International Vedanta Society (IVS)
It is a non-profit organization dedicated to the living and timeless experience of the teachings of Vedanta, transmitted for millennia from heart to heart. It offers gatherings and programs (sessions and intensives) to make this knowledge accessible to everyone, and its only means is love.
This knowledge teaches us how to navigate the challenges of everyday life and brings us clarity, harmony, and a profound inner peace.
IVS transcends age, race, religion, nationality, gender, and beliefs, and is not associated with any particular god or goddess. It is a platform that lives in the hearts of its devotees, an international network inspired by the sublime teachings of Sri Sri Bhagavan, belonging to the direct lineage of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Sarada Devi, and Vivekananda.

Barcelona City Council
The Kirtan Bhakti Association would like to thank Barcelona City Council for its support and guidance in making this festival possible, especially the Interculturality, Cooperation and Solidarity team of the Horta-Guinardó district.
This support has facilitated our use of the Velòdrom d’Horta as the festival venue, as well as providing guidance and assistance with essential aspects of the organization, such as the stage and platform, management of the surrounding area, and the permits required for the event and the temporary closure of the streets.
The project also receives support from Barcelona City Council through its grants programme for associations, helping to make this fifth edition of the Kirtan Bhakti Festival possible.
We are especially grateful for this support for an initiative that seeks to create spaces for connection, cultural diversity, spirituality, coexistence, and community.

Consulate General of India in Barcelona
The Consulate General of India in Barcelona plays an important role in promoting cultural ties between India and Catalonia, supporting initiatives related to yoga, the arts, music, literature, and India’s cultural traditions.
Its collaboration with the Kirtan Bhakti Festival represents a bridge between cultures and an opportunity to share with the public the richness of India’s spiritual and cultural traditions.
We are especially grateful for their collaboration and support for this space of connection, exchange, and celebration of Indian culture.
